Critical Injuries After Break and Enter Robbery

Would Be Thief Struck Down By Home Owner's Car - In Critical Condition - Temora

A 33 year old man is in hospital with critical injuries after being struck by a car in Temora, a town in the south of New South Wales. The incident occurred after an alleged aggravated break and enter attempt.

The incident occurred at about 10.30pm on Wednesday night when a 63 year old home owner in Hakea Street Temora confronted two armed men. A struggle took place between the men and the 63 year old was able to make it to his Ford Falcon which was parked nearby.

But while driving away from the scene, the man allegedly hit the two men who are aged 33 and 28. The 33 year old needed to be airlifted to Canberra where he is being treated for his injuries. The 28 year old ran from the scene and reportedly only suffered minor injuries.

Another man, a 22 year old was arrested at the scene and is assisting police with their investigation into the incident. The 63 year old home owner is also assisting police.
