Break Up? Michael Clarke Lara Bingle to Split

Reports Suggest Engagement Cancelled - Lara Bingle and Michael Clarke to Break Up - Clarke May Not become Australian Captain

Australian cricket Vice Captain is set to end his engagement to model Lara Bingle according to news reports on Wednesday. And in worse news for the cricketer, former test Captain Ian Chappel has cast doubt on whether Clarke could now become Captain of Australia.

Clarke cancelled his appearance in a one day international in New Zealand to fly back home to deal with "personal issues". Those issues have been widely reported to mean his relationship with Lara Bingle and the fallout after her shower photo was published.

It has been reported that Clarke is incredibly angry about the interview Bingle conducted with Woman's Day magazine just one week after the photo allegedly taken by Brendan Fevola was published. Bingle was said to have been paid about $200,000 for the interview.

Bingle was seen on Tuesday at the Bondi apartment that she shares with Clarke. At one point, Bingle stuck her hand out of the window and give the finger to waiting press below.

Lara Bingle has recently engaged celebrity agent Max Markson to act on her behalf. Some in the media have questioned the coincidence between her recent appointment of Markson and the publishing of the shower photo in Woman's Day. The magazine has stated categorically that they did not pay for the photo.

Commentators have stated that they are curious that the photo only emerged after Markson took Bingle on as a client. The follow up paid interview with the same magazine has raised just a few eyebrows in the industry.

Markson has shopped Bingle around to the TV networks for a price tag of $1 million. The networks are not said to be interested.

Michael Clarke is a good bloke. Not a rat-bag like some cricketers past and present.Like someone said,"she's a professional good sort!"However it takes more than looks to make a good person.I can see why Michael would want want her to be the mother of his children, but,She is not to his moral standards and a high maintenance spoilt girl. You know how it is with beautiful young girls. They go through life with everyone giving them everything for nothing .When they become adults they have no concept of giving or compromise. How do I know?Married one, divorced one, still take care of the children without any help.Financial or otherwise.Good luck Michael.Start fresh with a real partner.Someone more like the down to earth Jennifer Hawkins.Too bad she's taken hey!
