Man Punched in Head and Kicked While on Ground in Shepparton - Critical Condition
A 37 year old man is on life support following an attack in Shepparton on Tuesday evening. The man suffered extremely serious injuries and is fighting for his life.
The incident is understood to have occurred at about 8.15pm at the corner of Hicken Crescent and Fahey Street. The 37 year old became involved in a verbal fight with two men before the dispute turned physical.
The victim was punched a number of times and eventually fell to the ground knocking his head on the road. He was then kicked by the two men numerous times before they fled the scene on foot.
Emergency services were notified and the man was taken to Goulburn Valley Health. He was later placed on life support.
A number of witnesses have already been spoken to by police.
