Fatal Car Accident At Dookie in Grounds of Melbourne University
A 20 year old man has died following a single vehicle accident in the grounds of Melbourne University's Dookie campus in northern Victoria.
The accident is believed to have occurred at about 9pm when the Mercedes Benz sedan appears to have lost control and struck a building. The driver of the car, a 20 year old man from Berriwillock died at the scene.
The male passenger in the car was not injured and is currently being interviewed by police. An investigation is underway to determine the circumstances of the accident. A report will be prepared for the coroner.
