Hunt for Elderly Man After Indecent Assault on 7 Year old Girl at Gladstone Park Shopping CentreVictoria Police are wishing to speak to an elderly man in relation to an attack on a 7 year old girl while she was shopping with her mother on January 15.
It is understood that the incident occurred at about 12.15pm on January 15, 2010 at a variety store at the Gladstone Park Shopping Centre. As the mother and child moved through the variety store and elderly man approached the girl and indecently assaulted her.
The offender left the store but was confronted by the mother of the girl at another place in the shopping centre. He then fled the scene.
Police have released an image of a man that they think can help them with their inquiries. See Below. He has been described as being about 80 years old, 175 centimetres tall and has crystal blue eyes.
At the time of the incident the man was wearing a grey hat with a grey jacket, a dark pair of trousers and a white shirt.
